Dr. Rachel Kaminski is a UK-trained Consultant Pulmonologist and a graduate of Imperial College London. With a BSc in Respiratory Science from the Royal Brompton Hospital, she has held key leadership roles including Respiratory Consultant and Educational Lead at Gloucestershire NHS Foundation Trust. Now based in Dubai, she is recognized as a Severe Asthma Expert, managing complex cases and contributing to international research. She is a published author in The Lancet and continues to serve on advisory boards and lecture globally on asthma and COPD.

Professor Ashraf Alzaabi is a distinguished Respiratory Physician and healthcare leader with extensive clinical, academic, and administrative experience. A graduate of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (1997), he completed his Internal Medicine and Respirology training at the University of Toronto (2000-2006), earning board certification in both specialties from Canada and the USA.
Currently serving as Director of the Defence Health Organization at the UAE Ministry of Defence (since 2024), he previously held key positions including Chief Medical Officer at Zayed Military Hospital (2022) and Chief of Medicine (2021). Elected President of the Emirates Thoracic Society in 2019, he has been a full professor at UAE University since 2018, where he began as Assistant Professor in 2007.
Prof. Alzaabi has pioneered medical education initiatives, establishing the first residency program in Internal Medicine at Zayed Hospital and forging academic partnerships with UAE University. His Executive Master's in Healthcare Administration (Zayed University, 2010) complemented his clinical expertise with strong leadership capabilities.
An accomplished researcher with over 40 publications in asthma, COPD, and sleep disorders, his honors include the Murray Muirhead Award (University of Toronto, 2001) and Abu Dhabi Medical Distinction Award in Clinical Performance (2013).

Dr. Mahboub is a distinguished triple-board certified physician (American Board in Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, and Allergy/Clinical Immunology) with an MBA from Wolverhampton University. As Head of the Pulmonary Medicine Unit, he combines clinical excellence with healthcare leadership.
Previously serving as Program Director for Care Model Innovation at Dubai Health Authority (2016-2018), Dr. Mahboub is recognized for his contributions to health innovation and respiratory care. His career focuses on patient care excellence, clinical teaching, translational research in airway diseases, and healthcare innovation.
An accomplished academic, he serves as Co-Editor for Annals of Thoracic Medicine and has authored several respiratory medicine textbooks. Dr. Mahboub has received multiple awards from Dubai Health Authority for his achievements as a physician, innovation leader, and researcher.
