Senior Pediatric Pulmonologist & Deputy CMO

Dr. Asma Al Nuaimi is the first UAE national pediatric pulmonologist and a pioneer in establishing this medical field in the UAE. Currently based at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, she is triple board-certified (American, Canadian, and European) with special expertise in cystic fibrosis and chronic non-CF bronchiectasis.
Holding multiple leadership roles including Deputy CMO at SKMC and former Chair of Pediatrics at Zayed Military Hospital, Dr. Al Nuaimi combines clinical excellence with administrative acumen. She holds an Executive Masters in Healthcare Administration (with honors) and a Master's in Biomedical Ethics and Law, currently chairing SEHA's oversight IRB in Abu Dhabi.
A recipient of the Abu Dhabi Medical Distinction Award (2012), Dr. Al Nuaimi actively contributes to medical education and guideline development for the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi, while maintaining her special interest in military medical ethics.

Dr. Majid Al Saleh AlTeneiji is a Consultant in Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine at Al Jalila Children's Specialty Hospital. He completed dual fellowship training at the University of Calgary, Canada, in both pediatric pulmonology (serving as co-chief fellow) and pediatric sleep medicine.
Returning to the UAE in 2021, Dr. AlTeneiji first worked at Tawam Hospital before joining Al Jalila Hospital. His clinical expertise focuses on chronic ventilation, respiratory neuromuscular diseases, and pediatric sleep disorders. He maintains a strong interest in quality improvement initiatives within pediatric respiratory care.
As a fellowship-trained specialist in both pulmonology and sleep medicine, Dr. AlTeneiji brings comprehensive expertise to the management of complex pediatric respiratory and sleep-related conditions.
