Dr. Husain Alawadhi is a distinguished Consultant in Infectious Diseases and Critical Care at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City - Ajman. A graduate with honors from Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Wayne State University (USA), followed by fellowships in Critical Care and Pulmonary Disease, achieving multiple American Board certifications.

From 2000-2019, Dr. Alawadhi served as Head of Intensive Care at Mafraq Hospital-SEHA, where he established a weekly pulmonary clinic and contributed significantly to conferences on pulmonary medicine and infectious diseases. Certified in Medical Quality (2015), he has been actively involved in JCI accreditation initiatives and currently participates in longevity trial research.

Combining clinical expertise with academic leadership, Dr. Alawadhi serves as a medical instructor at Ajman Medical University, bringing his extensive experience in infectious diseases, critical care, and quality management to the next generation of physicians.

Dr. Irfan Shafiq is a Consultant Pulmonologist at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and Clinical Assistant Professor at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. He specializes in cystic fibrosis, non-CF bronchiectasis, and non-tuberculous mycobacterial lung diseases.

As Director of both the Pulmonary Function Lab and the CF Program at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Shafiq leads specialized care for patients with complex respiratory conditions. Prior to joining in 2013, he served as Clinical Director at Lymington New Forest Hospital and Honorary Consultant at Southampton University Hospital in the UK.

With his extensive experience in both clinical practice and academic medicine, Dr. Shafiq brings comprehensive expertise to the management of challenging pulmonary cases while contributing to medical education and research in the UAE.

Dr. Mohammed Harriss is a highly qualified pulmonologist with MBBS, MD, DTCD, DNB degrees and membership in the Royal College of Physicians (UK). He holds a European Diploma in Intensive Care, a Master's in Sleep Medicine from Oxford University, and a European Diploma in Pediatric Respiratory Medicine.

With extensive experience at leading hospitals including Rashid Hospital (Dubai) and Al Zahra Hospital (Sharjah), Dr. Harriss specializes in severe asthma treatment (including biologics), critical care medicine, and sleep disorders. He is an active member of numerous professional societies including the American Thoracic Society and European Respiratory Society.

Fluent in Arabic, English, Hindi, and Malayalam, Dr. Harriss combines clinical excellence with a patient-centered approach. Beyond medicine, he enjoys music, reading, and football.

Prof. Dr. Emadeldin Ibrahim is a distinguished pulmonologist serving as Professor at Alexandria University and Sharjah University, while practicing as Consultant Pulmonologist at Medcare Hospital Sharjah. As Head of the Respiratory Infections Group of the Emirates Thoracic Society (UAE), he leads advancements in pulmonary infectious diseases.

An Alexandria University graduate with MSc and MD in Chest Diseases, Dr. Ibrahim holds fellowships from both the American College of Chest Physicians and European Respiratory Society. With over 3,650 citations, his extensive research in respiratory infections has been published in prestigious journals, earning him international recognition including the Cecil Lehmann Research Award.

Having chaired ERS annual meetings since 2004, Dr. Ibrahim bridges academic excellence with clinical practice, bringing world-class expertise in pulmonary medicine and respiratory infections to the UAE healthcare landscape.
